Canvas Wall Art
A well-chosen piece of wall art can really bring a room together. Unfortunately, it's often very expensive to buy your own. This quick decorating idea will show you how to create your own piece of art at a tiny fraction of the price - and you don't need any artistic skill. All you need is a cheap canvas, some plants from the garden, and some spray paint.

Leaves or flowers
Newspaper
"A column of three evenly spaced canvases creates a striking design statement."

Choose some leaves or flowers to fit the canvas, and press them overnight by laying them between two sheets of paper and placing them under a stack of books. This will make them flat enough to work with. Lay out newspaper in a well-ventilated work area.
Spray one side of your leaves with a coat of Repositional Adhesive and arrange them on the canvas. You can move them around until you are happy with the effect. When you are pleased with their position, press them down firmly to prevent any runs, when you paint later.
Apply a coat of Valspar paint in a color and finish of your choice. Use a thin layer and don't get too close with the nozzle, so the force of the spray doesn't dislodge your arrangement. Build up thin layers until you have the color depth you want, remembering to spray around the edge of the canvas.
When the paint is dry, remove the leaves to reveal your pattern.
