1970s Lounger
So often, pieces of furniture with real style end up consigned to the attic or given to junk shops because their finish has become tired and worn. It's cheap and easy to transform them. This 1970s lounger can form a focal design point in the dining room when brought into line with a bold overall decorating scheme using spray paint.

Lay out newspaper in a well-ventilated work area.
Vacuum the front and back of the wicker to remove any dust and dirt trapped in the wicker pattern.
Wipe over with a damp cloth, and allow to dry.

Spray the lounger evenly with a single coat of Black Primer.
When the primer is dry, apply several thin coats of Satin Black.
