Terracotta Herb Garden
Thyme, Basil, Coriander, Oregano, we all love fresh herbs, especially when they're grown in your own garden. Create your own personalized terracotta herb pots by following this project card. They also make great gifts for the cook or indoor gardener in your life. All you need are some Terracotta pots, some Valspar spray paint and our simple step-by-step guide. Why not experiment with some of your own designs or try using metal pails instead of Terracotta pots.
4x Terracotta pots
1x box of chalk sticks /
Small paint brush
Masking tape
Pencil
Newspaper
"Why not experiment with different colored letters using either colored chalk or other colors in the Valspar Spray Paint range."
Get down to your local garden center to buy your Terracotta pots or have a root through your shed. If you are using some old pots give them a good clean and allow to dry prior to spraying.
Start by masking off the rims of the pot as this area will be left unsprayed. Lay down newspaper to protect the surrounding area.
For permanent lettering, make templates for the herb names and use Flat White.
If you used the Flat you will need to leave for approximately 45 minutes. You can now remove the masking tape and get potting!
Note: Always follow usage instructions on the reverse of Valspar Spray Paint cans
