"Really make your luggage stand out from the crowd - experiment with the Valspar Metal range."
Choose your hard-sided luggage, old or new and get creative. As you can see from the imageon the front of this card we chose a simple cat design. You can either follow this or come up with your own unique design. If you have internet access this is a really quick and easy way to get inspiration (or even stencils); alternatively take a trip to your local library.
Make sure you lay down newspaper to protect the surrounding area. Start by drawing your design on a scrap piece of paper. Once you are happy draw your design on your self-adhesive plastic and cut out using scissors or a craft knife - be careful during this part.
Once you've cut your design out you'll be left with a mask. Remove the backing from the self-adhesive plastic mask and apply to the face or largest edge of the suitcase making sure it is stuck down well. Ensure you mask all areas of the suitcase you do not want to spray.
Now apply Valspar Satin Chocolate Brown, you'll need at least two coats, leave 15 minutes between coats. Leave to dry for 30 minutes then apply Krystal Clear to cover the painted area. Leave to dry thoroughly for at least 3 hours. Happy holidays!
Note: Always follow usage instructions on the reverse of Valspar Spray Paint cans.
