Roll-top Bathtub

Bathrooms can be rather clinical places, and stark white bathroom furniture only adds to that effect. This decorative tip will show you how to use color on the outside of your roll-top bathtub to bring your room's scheme together simply and conveniently.

 

You'll need

Roll top bathtub
Newspaper
Masking tape
Drop cloth
Satin White

Satin Rustic Blue

Step by step guide
Step Number1

Clean the outside of the bath tub thoroughly to remove any trace of dirt, dust, oils and bathing products, and lay down a dust sheet.


 
Step Number2


Spray the feet of the bathtub with Satin White.

 
Step Number3

When dry, use newspaper and masking tape to shield the legs and the roll top of the bathtub. Mask the inside of the bath with newspaper or a dust sheet to avoid getting any paint on the enamel.

 
Step Number4


Use several thin layers of Satin Rustic Blue to build up color on the outer wall of the tub.
