Twinkling Garden Lights
You don't need to spend a fortune on stylish lighting for your garden - it's easy to use Glass Paint to transform glass jars from the kitchen into pretty, windproof tea-light holders for the garden. Dotting a number of these around the garden can look magical on warm nights.
"Keep an eye out for jars which are an interesting shape when you visit the supermarket."

Clean the jars with soap and water and soak off any labels.. Remove labels and residual adhesive with a product like Goof Off Goo Remover. Be careful to wash it off thoroughly

When the jars are dry, apply sticky dots. These will mask areas of the glass so it remains colorless. You can stick them on at random, or use them to make a pattern. Press down hard to prevent color bleed.

Apply thin, even coats of Glass Paint in Green and Red.
When the paint is dry, gently lift the dots off with the blade of a butter knife.
Place tea-lights in each jar.
Note: Always follow usage instructions on the reverse of Valspar spray paint cans.
