Garden Lanterns

You don't need to limit your use of decorative color to the inside of your home. Multipurpose spray paints can be used to pull your garden accessories together, bringing a touch of class to your garden - simply coloring two garden lanterns, following these easy steps, can make eating outside a really stylish experience.

 

You'll need

Two garden lanterns
Masking tape
Newspaper
White Primer

Satin Urban Beige

Satin Pistachio

Step by step guide
Step Number1
Garden lantern step 1

If possible, remove any panels of glass. If these are not detachable, you can use masking tape to protect them.


 
Step Number2

Sand the metal lightly to remove any flakes of paint or rust. Lay the sanded lantern on some newspaper in a well-ventilated area.

 
Step Number3


Spray a coat of White Primer all over each lantern. Leave to dry.

 
Step Number4


Apply a topcoat of Satin Pastel Green to one lantern, and Satin Ice Cream to the other.

 
Step Number5

Repeat process for the stakes. When everything is dry, replace the glass and reassemble.
