Crackle Finish
Valspar Crackle is a two-part system of a base coat and a top coat that uses two 'incompatible' paints to give objects an antique look. The depth of crackle can be controlled by building up layers of top-coat. Read directions on both products before beginning. Prime porous surfaces with Valspar Premium Primer


Use only in well ventilated areas. Ensure surface is clean and dry. Before applying spray on an inconspicuous area to ensure compatibility and suitability.Seal all porous surfaces prior to the application of the base coat with Valspar Premium Primer. For small crackle effect - apply one even layer of top-coat. For medium crackle effect - apply 2 to 3 even layers of top-coat. For large crackle effect - apply 3 to 4 even layers of top-coat. Sit back and watch the crackle pattern appear before your eyes! Suitable for use on almost all surfaces, Crackle is ideal for minor interior decorative projects.To preserve and protect the finish, we recommend that Valspar Premium Clear is applied once the Crackle finish is dry
Base Coat: Dry at least 1 hour, and not more than 24 hours before topcoating. Topcoat is thoroughly dry after 24 hours
